On 7/12/09, the ECAP1 Team traveled to Middlesex County, CT to conduct a paranormal investigation of a private residence.

Angel Sue performed the Historical Research, and the owners provided some history. Records of the property were difficult to find, but Angel Sue was able to confirm the property transactions, and the dates the property changed hands.

This single family home was built in the mid 1800s. Today it is considered a Historic Landmark in its town. It was built for a prominent businessman of the era. The home was a very large structure, that housed a family and it’s servants. It was once a stop on the Underground Railroad. The home was located on approximately 80 acres, and stayed in the family until there was no heir to pass it on to in the 1920’s. At this time, the home was separated into 3 different homes. Two of the sections were moved to other locations on the property, and sold as single-family homes. All three homes are still occupied to this day.

The current residents have been curious for years, if the spirit of the original owner was still occupying parts of the home. The residents of all three homes have reported unexplained activity in their residences. Our client’s reside in the part of the original structure that is still on its original foundation. The owner’s of the property are a couple that are in their mid 50’s. The husband reports, that he has not witnessed or felt anything paranormal in the home. His wife reports, she feels a presence on the second floor, and the basement. She also has the feeling of being watched from time to time.

The Investigation

Once Vic, and Tyler set up the tech, it was time for the ECAP1 team to get to work. The investigators split up into two teams. One team headed to the basement and the other team to the second floor. Both teams conducted EMF sweeps, K2, and EVP sessions. Neither team was able to report any personal experiences in either location. Photos were taken throughout the home during the entire investigation. It was noted that most of the floors in the home were not level, which could cause a slight funhouse effect

After the first sessions, the family and attending neighbors took part in assisted in the investigation by joining the ECAP1 investigators in the living room. At this time another evp, and K2 session was conducted. During this session, Sal and Angel Kathy conducted a 2nd EVP, and K2 session on the second floor.

After the investigation, all investigators agreed it was an uneventful night.

All the evidence was reviewed. There were no EVPs found on the recordings, the video had some orb activity, but most was discounted as dust. The photos showed a few orbs, but none that were notable.

Sal contacted the ECAP1 Psychic Consultant, Kerrie O’Connor. Kerrie confirmed that there was not a spiritual presence in the client’s home.

The client was then contacted with the news that there was no evidence captured, and that Kerrie O’Connor also confirmed that there was no spiritual presence in their home. The clients were very happy with this news. They stated tat they were happy we could give them this information, and put their minds at ease. They also stated that they learned a lot, and enjoyed being part of the investigative process.

Although we were not able to gain any new evidence to present to the paranormal field, it was a good investigation of a beautiful old home. What we didn’t find made another happy client of the ECAP1 team.
