Case Files — New London Animal Hospital

On 6-14-09, ECAngels investigated an Animal Hospital in New London County, CT.

This Paranormal case was unique in several ways. The ECAngels team went into this Animal Hospital to answer some questions that the Doctors and staff had about a presence that may have been in the facility. Not only did the staff feel there may be a human spirit in the facility, but possibly animal spirits as well. The staff would sometimes feel as if they were being watched, see shadows out of the corners of their eyes, and sometimes feel a brush against them like a cat may brush up on a person. It was an interesting idea, not only to look for a possible human spirit, but animal spirits as well.

EVP sessions were done in the surgical rooms, basement, and the apartment on the 2nd floor. EVP evidence was captured in the basement, and the 2nd floor apartment. No video evidence was caught, but some interesting pictures were taken throughout the facility. We decided to try and see if an animal spirit could leave footprints in normal cooking flour. We spread an even coat of flour on the surgical tables, and exam tables. We then placed catnip in the center. Unfortunately, no footprints were made this night. We also brought a variety of animal toys to try and attract the animal spirits. This seemed to work well in the 2nd floor apartment, as we caught many orbs, and a possible cat apparition.

The attic, and basement yielded some great evidence both photographic, and with an EVP. During the investigation a Ouija Board was found in the closet of the recently vacated apartment. Oddly enough, this was the only item they left behind. The Ouija boards presence was unknown to the Facility's owners, and can possibly explain some of the activity in the apartment.

At the owner's request, ECAngels properly bound and buried the Ouija board. Properly disposing of the board was important, as it may stop or prevent unwanted paranormal activity in the apartment.

I feel this was a very successful investigation, and definitely a great opportunity for a paranormal investigative group to try something different. There does seem to be some paranormal activity, but we don't feel this facility is haunted. Some energy of animals that have passed still lingers, and the Ouija board has been properly removed from the Facility.
